Embracing Change:
A transformational experience

The first step to embracing change is to stop resisting it. When you resist change, you’re fighting against yourself. This creates inner conflict and turmoil and can prevent you from acting altogether. If you find yourself resisting change, ask yourself why?

The benefits of practising Self-Compassion

One reason self-compassion is so beneficial is that it helps people to feel connected to others, when we feel alone in our struggles, we can quickly spiral into self-criticism and negative thinking. However, self-compassion provides a sense of connection and understanding, reminding us, that we are all human and share similar experiences and that everyone goes through tough times.

How to Connect Your Body, Mind, and Spirit

The first step is to become more aware of your thoughts and emotions. Acknowledge them without judgment and let them pass. If you find yourself ruminating on negative thoughts, gently refocus your attention on something positive. Don’t dwell on the small stuff, always use the 5×5 rule: pause, breath and ask how important this would be in 5 days, 5 weeks, or 5 months’ time. Keep your mind in check.

How to Live Mindfully in a Busy World

Make time for yourself every day. In our busy lives, it’s easy to forget to schedule time for ourselves. We often put the needs of others before our own, but it’s important to remember that we can’t pour from an empty cup. Make sure to schedule some time each day, even if it’s just 15 minutes, to do something that you enjoy with no distractions. This can be reading, taking a walk outside, or listening to music. The important thing is that you’re taking some time for yourself to relax and recharge.

Change the Negative Thought Patterns

One approach is to identify your negative thoughts and then challenge them with evidence. For example, if you believe that you’re not good enough, ask yourself what evidence you have that supports that belief. Are there people in your life who care about you? Have you achieved things that you’re proud of? Once you start to question your negative thoughts, they’ll begin to lose their power over you.

What does IMPERMANENCE mean in our life…

Impermanence is a concept brought by eastern philosophy and resides in understanding the essence and value of “Change”. It asserts that all conditions are transient and inconstant and that everything moves. It teaches us that everything is temporal and that condition changes whether they are of a material or mental nature.
